Hello,

I am graduating high school next week. I will be majoring in Microbiology in a university.... I have decided to take 12 hours for my first semester to focus on my few amount of classes and then take summer school at my local community college to make up for the small amount of classes at my University.... all I would like is some words of wisdom for the first semester of college....my dream is to become a dentist..during this summer I will be shadowing a OMFS. I am already making plans to start shadowing....I'm worried about all the classes I am taking in college....I took an easy senior year in High School because when I signed up for classes I didnt know if Dentistry was something I really wanted to do for a living...I started shadowing the last few weeks of my senior year and really realized that I want to be a Dentist....If anyone has advice for me in college so I can start out in college and be prepared...

I already
enrolled into the dentistry club at my college
know that I need to go to class in order to get a high GPA
focus on school work, not party so hard...

any other advice would be helpful I cant wait to start looking forward to Dental School....

Thanks

You've got a great start. You're already ahead of most people because you know what you want to do and you've already started working towards it.
All you need to do now is get in to a routine with your studying and classes. It's ok to go out and have fun. You've gotta do stuff that vents stress and keeps you sane. Once you figure out how to balance classes with everything else.... you're good to go.
