I recently just applied the rapid eye movement and I have been having a lot of success on the generators on dAT bootcamp. The way I do it is I unfocus my eyes and go back and forth super quick to whichever angles I am comparing while squinting my eyes and opening them and closing them and so on. Sorry if this is what you meant by rapid eye movement but this is what I've been using and have honestly went from getting them right 20% of the time to 80% of the time. Good luck!
One that I used was picturing the angles as a bunch of pencils on the table. Then I looked for which pencil was sharpest (smallest angle)
I liked the laptop method, I even used it for the rotated angles. That's quite useful, what about for obtuse angles? I can't adapt to the hill or laptop technique...):

One other one I tried was pretending they were slides (sliding down the inside of the angle). The faster you would slide, the smaller the angle. I didn't like thus one but it may work for you
TBH, Angles aren't as hard on the real thing as Bootcamp. Have you tried doing Kaplan's Angles? The real ones are similar to those, in my opinion! Also download the Angle ranking app on your phone and practice on your down time...pretty fun actually!
The best method and by far the most time effective method is the rapid eye movement method. Seriously when you get good at it, you will start getting almost everything right.
Ohhh maybe I'll try the slide one
Nope I haven't looked into the Kaplan Angles. I do have the review book for it though. But are you talking about the one online or the book?
It's always a hit or miss with it. And it's difficult for me for angles above 80.
