Just curious! drop a message on here and let us know where you applying to and what state you are from! Just for fun! 😀

i had to google Coptic...so you're an Egyptian Christian?

Haha I was thinking the same thing and that's probably why hardly anyone responded; no one knew what it meant. I personally know Egyptian Christians and never heard that term before. 😉

LOl I was gonna ask but I figure it was one of those things that you should know already. 🙄

I've been to the Hanging Church in Cairo....does that count?

....no? yeah, I figured.

hey, at least I knew what coptic meant!

Knew quite a few Coptic students from undergrad. I guess they are all applying allopathic.

Coptic, its a really common word!! you should have already known that term....haha..j/k but i am glad some of you googled it....now you know what it means 😀

i bet all the coptic students look at this thread and ignore it!!! they are too afraid of posting! 😛

to tell the truth...my first hunch was that it might have had something to do with people who suffer from some type of COPD!
...just a bit off 🙄

Well--i MIGHT be onto something IF it turns out that there is a rare genetic disorder or cultural practice that lends all egyptian christians to developing a COPD. It's a good thing im wrong.

There is...it's hookah.

Actually, it's not specific to egyptians or christians, all types of arabs of all religions are insane hookah smokers.

ya know...that actually happened with a bunch of different asian cultures. They would burn incense all throughout their lives and studies revealed they were correlated with higher than normal occurrence of pulmonary disease.
