Any Creighton med. studnets, need your advice

Why did u chose Creighton? I wasn't able to find any information about Creighton learning styles (PBL, organ-based, etc...), support groups (for all med. students), and other info. that I could write about it on the secondary essay.

Edit: I searched through the Allopathic and found some good info. and also went through the Creighton website again.

It seem like Creighton teaching focus a lot on dealing with minority issues. Can anyone confirm this?

What is didactic instruction specifically? That supposedly in Curriculm for 21st Century.

Again why did u guys chose Creighton? Other universities have curriculum like problem based learning (PBL), Patient physician and society (i guess like "the Patient and Society" of Creighton), organ-based approach, CELLS of Iowa, etc...

I am a Creighton med student. We have an exam on Friday...after that i can post some info. You can also do a search on Creighton. An M2 posted some good info. a while back.

What I really like about Creighton is how friendly and noncompetitive the students here are. Ppl are also really laid back. My class has been having parties every weekend. We don't get a class rank. We are graded against standards and that's it....70=pass. I also like how the classes and schedule is set up. We don't have two major exams close to one another....there'll be atleast a week in between them. Also, we start seeing patients from the first semester, which is nice. There's tons more I can say about Creighton...lemme know if there is anything specific you want to know.
