Quick question here... do we need to know any equations that are outside of FA?

I was listening to Goljan hematology earlier today and he mentioned corrected reticulocyte count and the rule of 3's and stuff, but those aren't in the FA chapter on heme. I noticed there is an equation page in the back of FA, but just wanted to double check with you guys to see if there's anything else we need to know.

Thanks!

I had 15+ calcs on mine yesterday, everything was from FA.

Would you say that that equations section in the back of FA was enough? Do you know off the top of your head if there are other sprinkled through FA worth memorizing?

Thanks for the help!

I had a few calculations on my test. all but two were in first aid. They were both stat questions using the same "test"

I understand the equations when I see them, but then I'll be doing a block of kaplan qbank and a question requiring a calculation (some godawful renal question or something) will appear and I will have no idea how to answer.
How did everyone else learn these? Should I just memorize them "as is" and then hope I can apply the equation when I see a question or is there somewhere I can practice lots of q's like these?
