My Stats TS20, GC21, OC20, Bio18, Rc18, PAT15, AADSAS cumulative 3.1, science 3.4. I have several years of research experience in different labs (maybe 5 or 6) since 2002. I know my GPA and DAT score average/low, and I am applying extremely late.... I really all of the schools that I am applying to guys. Is there any hope? ANY FEEDBACK?:scared: I applied to UCONN, Tufts, Howard, Meharry, USC, LSU, UTMemphis.

Sure there is hope, Obama is now our new president. He promised, hope and change, which may include letting everyone who wants to go to dental school not only get in, but also get a full scholarship.

On a serious note, your stats are fine, no one can speculate how the admssions office is going to decide on anyones application. You wont know until you find out, do it...

Its extremely late to be applying. Without exceptional stats, it gets a lot tougher this late in the game.

Any dental experience? What state do you live in? If you're a TN resident utmem would probably give you a later interview date...maybe after jan/feb. Their avg this year is 3.4 gpa/18AA dat so you're still in the running if you're instate. Not sure about out-of-staters though.

yea, Im currently working as a dental assistant in a GP office (also put in ~450hours in another office). You are right, it is EXTREMELY late.... So as you probably know, im sitting with my feet and fingers crossed at this point, with hopes of getting an invite!

I'm not sure about the other schools you applied to but utmem has ~80 seats. They give out 20-30 acceptances by dec, and after that the committee only meets 2 more times to decide in feb and march.
