I am a 3rd year med student wanting to go into radiology. Just finished my elective in Radiology. and I loved it. The thing is my academic stat is pretty poor.
Was wondering if any one of you have anyone who got into radiology program with poor academic stat. Can awesome step 2 score make up for poor step1.

In 2005 you said you got >235 on Step1? THat's not a bad score AT ALL! Also, how are you still a 3rd year then?? Your story doesn't make any sense. What exactly are your poor academic records? Noone can help you if you dont give accurate info.

i know ppl with 200-210 ive seen on the interview trail with 10-12 interviews the rest of there stats were very good though

We had a guy from my school with 200 who matched into a top 20 rad residency at our school. If you have poor Step 1, your best bet is to bust your butt at your institution and match there. Personal connections go a long way.
