Any More Marquette Interviews?

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are going to be any more Marquette interview invites or interview dates?
Based on the info on predents.com, they might be done giving out interviews 😕

I heard the same.. too bad.. I'm looking on the bright side though, dunno if I'd want to go there anyways, Marquette is one of the least diverse dental schools in the country. Not Asian-friendly (according to the numbers), but maybe I'm wrong..

thats really not a great idea, they are effectively cutting their applicant pool by 25%... how are they going to get the best students if they do that?

I've heard if you don't hear (they send an invite thru e-mail) from them by this Friday, it's pretty it. GL all of you guys with other schools.

i just spoke with marquette and this is wrong! they are not done giving out interviews. they are still giving out interviews...if you don't hear from them by the end of october...you prob won't get a pre-dec 1 interview. BUT that doesn't mean you are out of the running for a post-dec interview depending on how the class fills up. good luck

hey guys, we just had Brian (director of admissions) from marquette come to our Pre-dental meeting yesterday and talk to us about the school. to let you know, he said THEY ARE NOT DONE GIVING OUT INTERVIEWS YET. so stay positive and good luck

"Not done giving out interviews" is different than "not done giving out interviews for Pre-Dec. 1st." We know they aren't done, but did he say they're not done for Pre-Dec. 1st?

they havent even updated my status on aadsas. to hell with them, i shouldnt have applied in the first place considering that they dont accept any eastcoasters. foolish.

When i got my interview invite the last pre december 1st day was november 4th and they had 3 other dates in october. I think if they haven't contacted you until now then they probably wont until after december 1st.

I had an interview there today and the head of admissions said that they are definitely done giving out pre-dec interviews. He said that they will try to make a class out of the students they interview pre-dec. If some students decide to go elsewhere (which will happen) they might consider interviewing more people but would perfer to pick another applicant who has already interviewed. He also said it would be likely that more interviews will go out after dec. but will be very very limited...

if that is true, someone should suggest to them to make their application deadline in October instead of February to save students some money. What is the point of going there post dec. interview if you have a slim chance?

you have a slim chance at most post-december interviews at all schools
