It's a bummer because those that matched at Drexel to begin their PGY-2 year may be looking for a spot and receive kinder consideration.
Anyone know where the current Drexel ophthalmology residents went? The news said the department is closing next Friday after only 4 weeks of notice. The chair told a news reporter that he thought the department practice might stay open, which would allow medical student rotations, but that the residency would be closed. However, it turned out that the department ophthalmology practice is closing next week.

Drexel ophtho residents were spread out everywhere. One went to NYC. Others elsewhere. The hospital is closing (possibly closed already).
