Has anybody heard back from Stony Brook?
Acceptance or waitlisted?

I know they are still interviwing but it's post Jan 15th so
I thought it's about time they take some kind of actions..😕

theyre interviewing through mid-march. roughly three hundred total interviews for eighty acceptances.

Yeah but that doesnt mean they have to wait till the end of March to let anyone know... !!! Dont they lose a lot of students because other schools are already getting back to people and filling up their seats??

Yeah well they basically said that by March its for waitlist spots...And they said they didnt know how full the class was as of about a week ago.
 
I interviewed mid-dec there and still did not hear anything.
 
any1 know what the latest info on seats available is? Has any1 recieved any calls from them in Jan? I am starting to get very worried.

Same here.. I'd say my nerves are shot from waiting to hear from them, but I dont have any nerves left, cause their all shot from waiting to hear from them... lol...
 
i interviewed at Stony Brook first week of december and got an acceptance call beginning of january
 
NOT 80 spots...40!!..300 interviews for 40 spots. even worse
 
Isnt it only like 36 spots?
Egh... I want my phone call!
 
lmao. Sounds good! I hope we get it soon because this is driving me nuts.

I had my interview on Dec.15th.

Should I call them up to find out where I am?

IT HAS BEEN A WHILE AND IM LITERALLY DYING.....:scared:

I called them. I interviewed on the 30th of November, too late to be included in the DEC 1st day of fun. They said that my application was still in with the committee...so...not rejected yet...but obviously they are not jumping to get me in their school. LOL. GL...yeah call, they really are nice there.

Im too scared to know... I was interviewed before you, so im starting to think I am better off being in limbo than calling to know... At least in limbo I still have a chance... lol...

i haven't heard from them and I had an interview in late october.
 
Supposedly... there are NO spots left. They are waiting for people to drop spots.... They said hang on till about mid may and one should know what is going on.

there are a few ppl in my class who got in a month before school started...it may be full but that doesnt mean it'll stay that way...gl

I just interviewed there a few days ago and there definitely ARE still spots left... but just very few of them. They are also expecting a bunch of people to drop in March opening up even more spots.

Hi, all you ppl that are waiting patiently to hear from Stony Brook, did you all have interviews? Or is there anyone still waiting on that? Cause I've heard absolutely nothing from them, when I call they stay still under review, but its almost March!!! So I'm not really expecting much.
Anyways best of luck to all of you!
