you aren't learning anything in your classes?

In some of my classes I feel so lost and feel like I am not learning, well, actually all my classes feel like this to me...

But really, is there anyway I can fix this? I read the book, listen in lecture, work problems, but still feel like I haven't learned anything.

The two exams I took I got As, but I don't know if I really am learning.

Do you ever feel like this? Maybe I am burnt out?

Yes, several classes are structured so that you don't have to truly understand the underlying/fundamental concepts on an intuitive level to succeed. You simply have to memorize a method of tackling the types of problems that your professor will throw at you. In my free time, I use wikipedia and youtube videos as my usual sources for supplemental information about the fundamental concepts supporting all the "busy work" example problems I've been doing.

Well, clearly you understand enough to get As on the tests. There are some classes that you're just going to feel lost in. Molecular bio was that for me. I understood a good amount of the material, but most of the time I felt like I didn't have a handle on the overall picture. That's ok, just do the best you can and keep doing well on the exams.

Its ok, your 1st priority is getting good grades and learning comes 2nd.

Pretty sure most classes end up being like this. You are not going to apply any of this stuff, so you won't need to remember most of it. If you want to try to learn all the information, good luck, but there is no need. Just do well in your classes because medical school will be when you need to really learn the information.
