Heard great things about uthscsa, UAB and Georgia in particular in regards to implants, facilities and overall exposure.

Anyone else?

I'm a current PGY-1 at ASDOH, ask me anything!

Would you mind sharing your overall experience? Perhaps a rough break down regarding # of procedures done?

Sure!
I've placed about 17 implants, restored all of my implants and others that were placed by previous residents
Restored 20 arches of removable
200 extractions, including ridge preservation
Sinus lifts
Various perio surgeries, including osseous recontouring
Biopsies
OFP and TMD treatment
Tons of CE
Tons of bread and butter too
CEREC
10 molar endo
15 anterior endo
3 apicoetomies

This is an amazing program due to the scope as well as attending-resident relation/interaction. I was unsure about whether I wanted to specialize, so I did an AEGD. This program gives you so much experience in all aspects of dentistry that you'll really be able to decide or come out as a well rounded general practitioner.
