Any POST-secondary rejections yet??

was wondering if people have been rejected yet
after handing in secondaries

i'm wondering when the rejections will be rolling in
its been a while since i handed in my secondaries
and my file has been complete

has rejection been in form of email or snail mail

Nothing for me yet, I'm anxiously awaiting a few though...

I called Gtown today and they told me that my file was under review. I mentioned that I was trying to cooridinate my inteviews because of money and asked that he tell me if he knew if a decision would be coming soon, because if not, i would just have to bite the bullet and go all the way to NYMC for only that one invterview.

So he confesed that I was not being invited for an interview. A letter is being prepared.

Confusing since i got interviews at tulane and NYMC, when dockevin got put on hold at tulane but invited for interview at Gtown.

Not that i really expected to get into Gtown, but after seeing the stats of others who got interviews i thought i had a decent shot.

3.4 biochem 35M MCAT

Crap, ruined my day, And my car power window on the drivers side went down like it should before the phone call and then after i tried to "roll" it up and it seems to be broken......bad karma

Yeah, there's no reason to this process hightrump, just forget about it.

I think I was rejected from Jefferson and Temple even though I got the Einstein and Georgetown invites, so that strikes me as weird.

I think the best thing to do is just forget about our "status" at each individual school and focus on the positive responses we do get. As long as I get into one M.D. school, that's all I need to make myself happy.

Gotta work on my patience skills, I'm all talk, I just called 7 schools to check my status, lol....

heh, well Im certainly not religous and didnt say a word about it in my essay....maybe that played a part.

You guys are right though. All I need is one school, and out of the three schools ive heard from only one rejected me. And you know what meatloaf says......

PS. I fixed my screwed up car window! It only took me all day 🙂
