Hi guys,

I am finally starting my path of osteopathic medicine this fall, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to prepare myself for the workload and stress that is incoming.
Looking at other threads, most people just say to enjoy the summer, But I'm just a little worried because I took a lot of time off after ugrad and have not had to study or memorize much of anything for about four years.
I can cope with stress okay, but if there's anything I can do now to give myself a slightly easier time in the fall, I would very much like to do so.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Honestly, there isin't much. I would def get down to your new apartment early and have everything moved in and be settled before you start. Learn the area, where the shops, resteraunts, etc are. Also make sure you take the time to go to the orientation parties and be social in the beginning. Don't blow off the social stuff as you will be with your classmates for four years. It's good to have multiple groups to study with as well as to relax with.
