Any progress on NYU waitlist?

I interviewed at the end of february and been placed on the waitlist from march. I have called and emailed them couple of times. I don't really know what more I can do.

Has anyone heard recently? OR Is the class full?

The wait is getting difficult, but hopefully we'll both hear something soon 🙂.

I interviewed back in December. Waitlisted in January.

I interviewed in february and got waitlisted in march... have you talked to Dr. Mejia? When i called the school, they kept on telling me that they cannot disclose any info on how full the class is or how many ppl are on the waitlist. Some of the students I have spoken to told me that NYU waitlist moves fast and that a lot of ppl get off the waitlist very close to the beginning of class. However, I am really not sure if this will be the case for this cycle... Im getting extremely anxious waiting for an answer, but i guess we've done all that we could have. Hopefully good news will come our way soon =)

I haven't been able to talk to Dr. Mejia directly, but the last time I called the admissions advisor told me to basically just wait and that if there are any status changes, they'll call to let us know :/. So, I guess we just have to hang in tight and see how it all plays out!

I'm trying to remain positive about the whole situation because I really want to attend NYU.

How about you? Any new information on the waitlist from admissions?

Thats exactly what they have been telling me as well... I couldn't get a hold of Dr. Mejia, but I did leave her a message. I really want to go to NYU also, I fell in love with the school during my interview. Will you be waiting for a reply from NYU or are you gonna reapply for the next cycle? Im keeping my hope alive for this cycle, but i also have to plan for next year... please keep me posted if you do hear from nyu or get any further info from admissions =)

Yeah, I wish we could know more about the waitlist, but it doesn't seem like they want to disclose that info. I'm waiting for NYU and I think I will also have to put in another app... just because I don't know what's going to happen :/

The waitlist threads for NYU are also not so active this year. Does that mean the waitlist is moving slower than typical..?
