Any questions?

Sure! If you were to do a sub-I in my ICU, would you get a good letter from me? If so, why? If not, would you still buy my NP lunch in a last-ditch effort to score some brownie points even though you know I probably won't even notice but whatever she only eats salads and it can't cost that much anyway?

I kid. Thanks for volunteering your time.

Thanks so much for doing this! I have a few questions. If you don't want to answer any I will take no offense to that and completely understand.

What were your stats?
If you had a relationship in med school was it hard to maintain?
How has your experience been throughout school?
Any specialty you're leaning towards?

I have a lot of questions as I'm sure others do, thanks again for doing this, it really helps everyone out.

I applied in 2011, so its outdated, but I had around a 3.4 and a 32.

I am in a relationship, and its not too hard. Like anything else in med school, it just takes time management. Get your work done efficiently and its pretty easy to live a normal life.

My experience has been amazing. There is nothing better than learning medicine. Its science combined with problem solving combined with helping people. Whats better than that?

I am heading into critical care.

Thank you for the responses! You say it's pretty easy to have a normal life, what do you mean by this? You can still go out on the weekends and have nights to yourself like you would with a 9-5 job? Some people on SDN make it seem like med school sucks up all your time.
Was it harder than you expected or was it about what you imagined?

You can definitely go out on weekends. Its exactly the same as a 9-5 if you dont fall behind on your work. I dont really remember what I expected honestly, but I think its easier than most people make it out to be.

Are you a MD or DO?

Do you enjoy medical school? Also PM me

I love medical school. Most students do. You get a weird slice of negativity on this site, just because there aren't a lot of places where you can vent about medical school and have anybody know what you are talking about.

And I dont know how PMing works

Are you worried about loans and having to pay them back? With many people being 200k in debt it seems daunting.
