I am looking to apply to dental school next year, and I would like to know if anybody has any reccomendations for a school, my 3.2 gpa and 3.3 s.gpa 🙁? I also have 5 years as a dental assistant, and time in the millitary, if it helps at all?

retake the science pre-reqs that are weighing down your GPA, study really hard for the dat, then apply. That's what I would do. I know that other people would apply with your stats and they may get in (esp. if you have a state school that favors residents), but I wouldn't chance it. It's all a matter of opinion though. You do have really good extras (work exp, military)..so I think it would be worth it for you to retake those classes and do well on the DAT.

Work on a personal statement and figure out what you want to say about your experiences. Rock the DAT! Don't waste time retaking classes if you don't need to. 🙂
