I am trying to shorten the list but I'm just too scared.... but it seems too many tho.

If you look on Predents.com the 2012 entering class statistics are out. With your GPA and DAT score you should be fine. just compare the stats with yours.

With your stats, you don't really need THAT many schools. Somewhere about ~15-20 should be more than enough but if you can afford to submit applications to all of them & are willing to travel there for interviews, why not keep them all 🙂

Similar stats to you & also CA resident. I applied to 20 schools anyways.
