Any residency program suggestions for 10+ years from graduation?

I have a friend which is a FMG and has completed a residency in neurosurgery but based on US definitions he will be considered 10+ years from graduation from med school and he has trouble finding programs that do not have year-graduations reqs.

Can any one help me on this? any advice?

I'm confused - your friend already completing his residency? In the US or abroad?

If he's already done here in the US, why does the 10-year limit matter?

1. Rock the USMLE's.
2. Apply broadly.
3. Be flexible about career choices. He is unlikely to get a NS spot.

Nothing he can do about his year of graduation, so he needs to do everything to make the rest of his application shine. There is no way to search for year of graduation cutoffs, although there are some IMG websites that offer to sell lists of these types of information.
