I took the DAT in 2011 and I am currently studying for my retake, and since my old laptop broke down i had to re-order crack dat pat and man is it just me or did it get a lot harder.

Didn't know they had a new addition. I retook but got mine last year. It seemed pretty on par with the test to me.

I got a 25 on the 5th test and stopped after that and felt it was very close to the actual. Maybe some weird looking shapes and hole punches but more or less the same.

The actual PAT is harder than the crack that PAT DAT. JUST SAYIN

I was consistently scoring 25-26 on the last 5 CDP. on the actual thing, I got a 17.

Really wow, I'm in for an interesting ride. Have you recently taken the exam and what "Edition" (or year) Crack dat did you use?

I took the test about 2 months ago, I guess it is the latest edition isn't it? If you are wondering, I averaged about 22-23 on it and ended up getting 20 on the real DAT. But I've seen people do better on the real thing, so I guess it depends on which version you get.

Wow Congrats on your PAT score that is very impressive. I find my self struggling with the pattern folding of cubes with patterns, do you have any advice for problems similar to these:

I'm terrible at PAT to be honest with you. The best way is to try to finish everything quickly so that you'd have about 15-20 mins for pattern folding, which is the section I struggled the most. Just look at each answer choices and see if it's possible. I remember the 2 attachments above and the dice patterns being extremely difficult at first, but I got really good at them by the end. However, I didn't have anything like that on the DAT, just had a bunch of complicated and funky patterns and shapes. I got a 16 or 17 on the first practice test, and I thought I was gonna have to give up dentistry because of it. Just don't get discouraged, I'm quite aweful at it but I did ok. My break down might help if you want to read it.

With pattern folding you have to start by looking for any unique shape or design. Those cubes can be tricky, but you just have to pick one side to use for all of the possibilities and cancel out any that don't work for that side. Then go to another side and cancel those out, etc. eventually you will have the one correct answer left.

Hey guys I just took my DAT yesterday and received a 25 on the PAT. So for those of you who are prepping to take your exam soon I just wanted you all to know that Crack DAT PAT did get a lot harder (atleast the version that I had) despite the headaches you may receive while practicing with this program I just wanted the SDN community to know that Crack DAT PAT will definitely prepare you for the real deal so don't get discouraged with your practice results just keep putting in the hours and over time you will definitely develop your skills. So GL to all.

I think you have to buy the new version to get the updates. I had the one from 2 years ago and even though it's updated, it's the same old examples that I can tell. Good job BTW, I am jealous.

Steiner Ya I used to have the one from 2 years ago on my old computer but it broke down so I had to buy the new version for my new laptop and man am I happy I did.
