Due to family issues, seeking opportunities to transfer to one of the pathology residency programs at Boston area. looking for second year position..... thanks if you have any information available, or if you have previous experience with transferring and don't mind sharing it. Appreciate your help!

The few people I know personally who have transferred from one pathology program to another, did so with the assistance of their current program director, who made contacts on their behalf through the PD email list. I've heard stories about other ways, but that's how it went for the ones I remember having personal experience with. After that, your best bet is probably to contact the area programs directly and see what happens.
