Hey everyone!

So I'm gonna be studying for the dat during the spring semester, probably start studying in like a week or two. What are some tips that you guys would suggest? If I start let's say, JAN 1, do you think I would have enough time If I wanted to take the exam like April or May, since I'll be studying while in school? How many hours a day would be sufficient to be successful? Which subjects should I study together and do I practice reading, QR, and PAT from the beginning? What's best? Any info helps! Thanks in advance!

Some students like to jump around when studying others prefer to study 1 subject at a time, do what works best for you. Also make sure to keep your GPA as high as possible and not let your DAT studies take away from your course work. Don't rush taking the DAT..be prepared.

My tip would be to bring your study material everywhere you go. I know that when I would go to a family event, or even out with friends (lame I know) I was always bringing a study book with me. Another tip I have is that anything that you don't know, google it and watch videos on it. It really seemed to help me.

Oh and another thing that I would do for biology is bring it up in conversation as much as possible. Warning: very annoying to who your talking to, but constant exposure to the material and being able to explain it to someone is helpful.

Yup. If you need to call a relative to wish them Merry Christmas, you can also explain to them the process of metabolism 🙂
