I am in a small family medicine program. My program has been on probation because one resident wrote them up. However, it seems like they are still not changing. There are no work ethics, hardly any attendings come for round, no teaching for the residents, patient care is the least on everyone's mind, as an intern I am handling every patient w/o any input from attending. So just doing labor and not learning jack.PD just likes to threat residents. One thing which was shocking to me was when the CEO of the hospital told ER to admit EVERYONE regardless of their status..... They been on Medicare fraud. I just feel like I am in hell and not learning anything. According to many local reviews, its the least favored hospital in the city.
I just dont get why ACGME would ever approve a program like this to conduct physician training.
