Over all, my GPA is in the competitive range. However, I have four Ws on my transcript with a few more classes to go. For U of M, Dean Perry stressed to do one's best the first time around in classes. For WSU, in an online chat, a pharmacy advisor said that any more than 2 Ws or repeats can seriously affect one's chances of admission.
My question to those students from the above mentioned schools is: Do you know if any of your classmates had been accepted into pharmacy school even with four or more Ws? On the plus side, my GPA is higher than it would have been had I probably stayed in the classes that I withdrew from. However, I'm afraid the admission committees may not think I can handle the pharmacy cirriculum and deem me not a good candidate in the future. Thanks in advance.
