I e-submitted on the night of the 30th of June.

I made a few mistakes, namely listing personal experiences in chronological order instead of in importance, and a spelling mistake or two. I also want to clarify an art award I won in 1999 was for the elementary school bracket. I also wouldn't mind changing my personal statement up a little bit either.

I was just in way too much of a hurry, stressing out on submitting early, physics final, studying for DAT, and having to write the personal statement at the same time.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I am hoping they would help me clear things up and let me fix the app, since they did not verify my GPA yet. Alternatively, I would need to mail each school? (But I am applying to 16 :scared: how am i going to mail them all)

What are the changes of getting ADEA to reset my application or fix these things for me? I am hoping that since my app haven't really been verified, etc yet that I can fix it up without much problem.

no problemo just email them and they should unsubmit it for you. which wouldnt affect your application status because its incomplete anyways until your transcripts get in and are verified

has anyone known someone who had to resort to this or has done this kind of reset themselves?

My transcripts have arrived at AADSAS for 2 weeks now.

how come ur transcripts arent verified yet, if they arrived 2 weeks ago? it shouldnt take them more than 4 days to get that done with

i needed to correct a sentence on my PS so i emailed aadsas and they changed it for me. if you need to make little changes you can always email them the directions. if you have alot to change, however, it'd be rude to ask them to do everything for u

my advice:
-option 1 - just ask to unsubmit your application so u can thoroughly clean it up, and accept the consequence of possibly being mailed out at a later date

-option 2 - if you dont want to risk being mailed out later, you can just pick the most crucial errors on your application and email aadsas to fix them (by crucial, i mean spelling errors, which are a big no-no because they show you didnt put much time into it)

I submitted it on the 30th, but I had mailed my transcripts in as soon as I got a hold of the transcript matching form. So they are probably going to verify my GPA in a few days.

I will probably fix the bunch of things and have them unsubmit it for me. If I am lucky and quick enough perhaps I can get the fixes in as they are verifying and will not have any delay?

according to my knowledge (and im not sure, so you should call to check), aadsas will only verify your transcripts when you have submitted your application. so if u unsubmit, they'll hold off on the verification until your done. if you can finish cleaning up your ps in 2 or 3 days, and give aadsas 4 days to verify, then it means you would be submitting your complete application only a week later then normal

just as importantly, call them to ask whats up with ur transcripts. if they arrived 2 weeks ago, they should have been verified 1.5 weeks ago. everyone else who was posting on these boards 2 weeks ago said that it only took them around 2 days to get the verification

I was under the impression that unless I e-submit and pay, they will not verify the transcript

ah, gotcha. i didnt read the part about u submitting on the 30th.

so yeah, ur transcripts would most likely be verified this coming tuesday, since monday is a holiday. what you can do is, wait for your transcripts to be verified, then contact aadsas and ask them to unsubmit it for you so you can make the changes. dont know if that will affect ur mailing date, but it is a little bit of working around the system

I will call them first thing in the morning, in addition to the e-mail i sent earlier.

i was thinking of the opposite, actually, to get them to unsubmit it before they verified my GPA. I wonder whether unsubmitting before or after GPA is verified will be faster.

by "verify" do you mean confirm they've received them or that they've matched it with the course info you input to make sure the info is correct....?

well i called them today, and they say that there is no way to make changes on the transcript once you have e-submitted.

so....

I also found out that there is about 600 applicants who are waiting to have their GPA verified, so if you e-submit today, you will be at the back of this line.

OMG...I listed them in chronological order instead of importance!!!!

How big of a deal is that? Should I change it? This is terrible.

(not so much...i listed them from most recent to less recent so that to me translates to importance sry ppl)

I know this is from last cycle, but if anyone has had them make a minor correction after e-submitting, do you know if the change shows up online on your AADSAS application?
