USC is infamously slow for office procedures. However, I have heard from an inside source that, regardless of submitting secondaries online, they are waiting for verified apps to begin reviewing.

I was basically told to "sit tight." Good luck 🙂

Why are they even bothering waiting for verified apps? I mean, SCAMCAS just verifies grades and MCATS. Are there really that many people out there who are stupid enough to try to lie about their grades or scores that schools feel they have to wait for the geniuses at SCAMCAS to verify everything? 😡 😡 😡

where have you been?? SCAMCAS = Scam + AMCAS---get it??
It comes from a lot of us feeling scammed by AMCAS! I guess you must not have had any problems with them... 🙄

Is anybody complete at USC?

I am one of the lucky few verified, yet, the section on the USC secondary that say "Verified AMCAS APP" is still not checked. I don't know if it's SC's fault or SCAMCAS.

I went in today and asked about my rec letters, since they were sent in a week ago and still haven't come up on the status screen. I was told by the asst dean of admissions that they have 5000 pieces of mail. There's only three people working in the office, so it may take some time for them to get all the stuff together.

Hey 2Steve^2...I was verified on 8/02 and my USC status page reads the same way...I don't know what the deal is either.

my app is complete as well but my stauts on USC app doesnt show that so i called them two days ago.. the lady said that they havent updated their website in a while. she told me that she'll call me back IF there is a prob and IF my file is incomplete. She never did. So my guess is the ame is the case with your fil;es, they just havent updated the status check website...
