i had a projected 228 about 10 days before the test and got a 254 on the real thing

I got a 198 on the NBME 1 two weeks before the test, studied my butt off, and got a 228 (although I was really hoping to top 230, so I was still disappointed...sigh).

i dont get it. many people posted nbme scores that were almost identical to the real thing. why do you think you guys got such different scores?

computer glitch. they got someone else's scores. 🙂

I know a guy who had a predicted 193 on the CBSE (taken end of March), and scored a 250 on the real thing (taken end of June).

I scored a 280/800 ( i forget what this projects to, I think like a 173 or something) before studying jumped to a 610 (242) 2 wks prior and did substantially better on the real thing.
