Anybody else not here from PCOM yet

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I understand that, but that does not answer my question. 😳

I would think that having a strong LOR from a PCOM alum would be very advantageous. 👍

Are you asking of your LOR writer should send a letter directly to the ADCOM or write a customized letter for PCOM? If that's your question, I think no. It could come off as being a little brown nosey. Just IMHO, though. 🙂

That was my question. Will they scan their alumni database to see if she went to PCOM?

I think his question is regarding them looking to see who the letter is from in terms of PCOM graduate or not. The DO who wrote my LOR is a PCOM graduate but didn't mention that on the letter because I was sending it to all the schools. So it's supposed to be an advantage but how can it be unless a) they look up each DO to see where they graduated or b) one of your interviewers happens to recognize the DO. I'm confused about this too but I guess fortunately for me I'm not completing my PCOM app.

why not have the DO put that in? it shouldn't make a difference even if they were to send it to another school....

Maybe she could put her credentials in the letter below her signature or state where she went to school somewhere in the letter?

I'm not sure if they would scan a database of their alumni, but it seems like they would find out one way or another.
