Pretty much feel like I failed that mofo. I've never taken another test where the authors seemed to go so out of their way to make you 2nd guess yourself.

Ex. I remember a question about a woman who comes in to her doctor for symptoms that could be associated with carpal tunnel... but then they give you this history of daily alcohol consumption for several years... and an elevated AST.

So you're left wondering does she have carpal tunnel... but you begin to seriously doubt that because that would just seem way to simple for what is supposed to be such a "hard test."

OR, is it that she has chronic pancreatitis w/ associated hypocalcemia that could be given rise to the symptoms of carpal spasms?

And obviously your choices include both alcoholism as one and carpal tunnel as another.

Questions like that are BS when you have such a limited amount of information given... in addition to the fact that you only have about 1 minute per question.

I felt that I had failed the IM shelf also. My score wound up being my highest for a shelf yet- so don't worry too much 🙂

ugh just the thought of that exam, my last shelf of MS3, makes me sick. Definitely the hardest of the shelves IMHO... I feel like I failed as well.
