Anybody else waiting 2+ months for CS scores and going a little crazy

Just looking for some commiseration here. I took CS on July 20 and won't get my score until mid-October. 😡 I felt pretty confident after I took it, but now I'm worried that I forgot all sorts of other things but I can't remember the test well enough to know if I did or not. Anyway, it's just plain cruel to make us wait so long. We pay more than $1k for the stupid test!

Tell me about it. I took mine July 24th. It's killing me because I didn't feel great about that exam and am just PRAYING I passed the ridiculous exam. I just took my CK yesterday and am guessing I'll get that score before the CS.

Don't worry, it is a nothing test. You, just have to have some idea of what you were doing. I found, it is mostly people who don't have a clear idea about the cases, those are the ones who fail. As long as you were able to narrow down to 2-3 dd's, asked q's about those and wrote a good soap note, you will do fine. PE doesn't matter.
P.S.: I was also freaked out after the test, later learnt it was for nothing.🙂

do you mind sharing why you didn't feel so good after the test? what happened? did you run out of time? could you not come up with the needed differential diagnosis. I am taking the test in 1 week any advice you have would be great.

This is what I've heard from most people who've gotten their scores already. The thing that makes me a little nervous is that my school apparently sucks at CS -- we have more people fail than average, and the people I've heard about who've failed are actually pretty good students.

nah it was more stupid stuff like major alchie who after he told me he drinks 2 martinis every night, I thought to myself, "ok. go over alcohol cessation plans at end." Of course by the time the conversation did end, I was so focused on the differential that I completely forgot to even mention anything regarding alcohol. Timing wasn't an issue for me... though I hear it is for some people.
