This question may have been answered already but the independent i work at is basically filling a decent amount of high qty oxycodone 30mg. at cvs i always considered reporting suspicious doctors but never got around to it because i was afraid it would be more of a headache if the regulatory agencies got involved. Has anyone used this function on pmp and if so, was there any follow-up after? I'm just worried that by reporting it, i might actually be shooting myself in the foot for filling scripts from these "suspicious" doctors. i am actually in the process of weeding out these high qty oxy patients even though the owner might not like that idea.

Several times now, but really targeted to patient(s), not specifically any one doctor...always MD shoppers with Poly-pharma
End result being person(s) gets further insurance restrictions, locked-in status & restriction of MD covered (no dispensing OOP, mandatory to go through insurance). Forced profile note of instructions on such restrictions

I do notice some of the suspect MDs in my area eventually get flagged in my computer system (not allowed to fill any controls for). Have had one incidence of DEA officers come to our pharmacy (MD was a piece of work/pretty extreme case, dishing out ridiculous amounts of oxy ir + oxy er non-stop almost no questions asked and has lost license)
