Anybody get a "Reapplicant" Supplemental Application from Nova CODM?

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone else is a reapplicant to Nova CODM, and if so, how did you answer some of these essay questions:

1) What have you been doing since your last application to NSU CODM?
2) What changes in your application make you a more competitive candidate?

For 1), could I say that I conducted research at Tufts this summer and 2) increased my DAT AA avg. by one pt and my OC by 5 pts. Basically where I'm trying to get at is: Is this enough to answer the question?

I would greatly appreciate it if some Nova people could help me out here, or anyone for that matter. Thanks.

Sounds like you're on the right track there. How much did you increase your AA by?

I am going to mention that I am enrolled in an MS program and will have completed 26 hrs of grad credit by May in classes such as Histology, Cell Bio/Molecular Bio, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Inorganic Chem, etc. I also plan to mention I improved my DAT scores and also plan to retake them to raise my PAT. Additionally, I plan on being a TA in an undergrad class and will attempt to volunteer/work at a hospital (have already worked in a dental office for 8 months assisting, etc.). I have more stuff I am going to write in the reapplicant essay, but its early......Good luck

you know that you complete this only if you have applied to Nova last year... otherwise you don't have fill it out... at least that was what I was told by the adcom there.

Apparently we (rezdawg, nismoboy, and I) received this letter and are in the process of reapplying...how else would we have known about it? Any thoughts on NOVAs #s....does applying early matter at this school (ie rolling admissions)?

Hey Bullfan, I believe it is rolling admission...I heard that if we sent in our supplemental apps. now, we wouldn't get an interview before the end of oct. early nov.

BTW, I don't know what to write for question #1, anyone have any thoughts?
