Congratulations on the acceptance to LECOM. I'm getting a little worried that lecom hasn't given me a reply -- I interviewed there 4 weeks ago!! I don't know whether the reply got lost the mail or not. I just have a question for you guys:
What's your GPA and MCAT score? I just want to know what numbers LECOM is looking for.
They told me at my interview that the admissions comm. meets every two weeks to go over the files. I would call them up and ask them when they are going to meet again.
As far as my grades and MCAT go, I have a unique file because I am graduating from chiropractic college and I have taken 75% of the same classes that compose the first two years at LECOM and I think that played a large role in my acceptence. My undergrad is 3.0 and my professional gpa is 3.8 and my MCATS were 9,9,9.
Let me clarify what classes I mean before I make to many people mad at me. The classes I mean include gross anatomy, embryology, biochemistry, physiology, cellular physiology, histology, microbiology, and systems pathology. The corticalspinal tract is the same whether it is taught at a chiropractic college or at a osteopathic school. Hope I didn't make to many people mad at me.
