the average gpa is like 3.4-5 gpa 3.3-4 sci gpa 20/18 on dat
they are a DAT heavy school i have friends that applied with 3.9 and 3.65 and did not get in since they got a 19 on the dat
but if you rock the DAT like 22 or so you have a chance since they but so much emphasis on it

It sounds to me like you need to work on your GPA - Love You Girl -- We Class of 2011!!!

average GPA for incoming class next year is a 3.6 Science and a 20.5 AA on DAT. I was told this by the dean directly.

It is getting harder and harder each year to get in
what where your stats stoshic since you got into UNC Dental School and all?

I am considering applying to UNC for the 2006 cycle. I did not realize the stats for UNC went up that high that quickly. On their website, this link
http://www.dent.unc.edu/academic/programs/dds/profiles/2008.htm

provides a profile of the Class of 2008. According to it, the average GPA is 3.30 and the Science GPA is 3.31. The DAT averages are as follows:

Academic Ave 19.6
Perceptual Ability 17.4
Quant Reasoning 18.5
Reading Comp 21.0
Total Science 19.2

This comes directly from the link above. Do some poking around, there is a profile for each entering class for the past 5 years.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Yeah I know,
the dean said this was one of the most competitive cycles they've had. GPA and DAT scores went up significantly. Best of luck!
