Thanks for the morale booster, teething. 🙂 I really like it here in Georgia, your brother musta just got rotten areas. It's true they only take in-state here. And not too many specialize here either, but there are a few in every class who do. One reason it seems that so few specialize is because the class is only around 50 students. MCG is usually only just around average on NBDE part 1 but consistently in the top 10 for part 2.
I think I may have applied to other schools if I had found SDN before I applied; I was a little clueless about the whole process. Plus, I have a wife and two kids and didn't think there was anyway I could afford the AADSAS, much less flying out to all the interviews.
