My application file just got re-activated from the screeners alternate list, and I got the secondary application materials. Is anyone handwriting/typing their essays directly on the application sheet or would it be OK to include the essays on a separate sheet. Any suggestions?

I hand wrote my essays directly onto the application. I had written them in Word, printed them out, and copied so I wouldn't be free-writing onto the form. Typing or handwriting - either will be fine as long as it's on the form provided....not on a seperate piece of paper. If you have any questions, just call the lady in the adcom office - I think her name is Diane and she is really nice - def the person you want to be friendly with. If you need any other answers PM me...

I typed up the essays on my computer. I then printed them off and the cut and pasted the essays onto the form. I then photocopied the application so that it wasnt obvious what I had done. It is seems a little odd but it worked well and hey, they accepted me :0)

Thanks--

Although it seems like more work, I'll probably write the essays in Word, hand-write a "practice" essay on a photocopied blank, and then do a final copy on the actual.

I just got the secondary after being put on the Screeners Alternate list as well.

Here's my question: In the original letter informing me of the Screeners Alternate status, I was told that "eventual acceptance is unlikely". Now, that I'm re-activated, is acceptance still unlikely? The lady who answered the phone just told me that very few people are re-activated, so I have no idea what my chances are now.

Anybody else in the same boat who was accepted in previous years?
