There is a reason why I almost never post or even bother to read the pre-allo forum. The pervading amount of immaturity in those threads is ludicrous. My advice to you is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Spend your time on SDN in the MCAT forum if you haven't taken your test yet. That sub-forum tends to be a lot more informative.

Solid advice. This is exactly what I did up until interview season.

I agree with the other sentiments expressed.

All Pre-Allo is good for is its secondary application essays (which enable you to be complete earlier) Everything else is just questions that people already know the answer to, thinly-veiled bragging about stats ("oh, noez! i gots a 3.89 instead of a 3.9! 🙁"), and even more thinly-veiled racism.

The MCAT forum and interview feedback are also good sources of info. 👍

Focus on getting that M.D. Your community (us 😀) is here for support. 👍

I ran my post count up fighting and arguing with the folks over there in pre-allo.

Regular Allo is pretty fresh, however, it is this subforum that has kept me from deleting my account.

Just ignore... the majority of those individuals will not make it into medical school. If they are truly that ignorant, admission committees will probably see right through them during interview. However, every once in a while a few slip through the cracks. Can we say...the Craiglist guy...
