I received an e-mail from NSU today saying congratuations on my acceptance into the 2011 class. Great right? Well, the problem is that I never actually interviewed there. I called Vicky and she seems to think she has the right guy. She said the Assistant Dean was out today but will be in on Monday and that she would ask him about it. She will get back to me then.
I just want to know if this has happened to anybody else today or any other time? It got me all excited for probably nothing since I haven't interviewed.

They get screwed up there alot they emailed me 3 times after I interviewed and got accepted to fill out my secondary application. Getting one email is ok, but 3!!! Then they sent me 3 identical holiday cards, the place is just not very peronal.

Interesting! I hope it's for real. If so, congratulations. 🙂

I heard that certain osteopathic schools will simply admit you without the need for an interview if your GPA and MCAT score are high enough. For example, I know that WVSOM does that. I don't know if NSU does this, but from the looks of their application page, they require an interview.

I know I just thought about that!!!! I don't know what I was thinking. Just think I could have said I snuck into med school. People would ask but I would never tell. Well, we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe I can make my plea just to come let me interview and be accepted once they figure out I am not a quack.

Maybe you will get bonus points for being so honest. Maybe they will accept you just for that.
