It seems that a large amount of people here are from the northeast so I was curious as to how many here plan on or are currently attending Texas Tech's pt program?

seems it may be just me. Ok, is there anyone from around the lubbock area that could tell me some about housing? I'd love to have a room mate that was in the same program.

I threw my AWESOME $50 deposit down which is WAY better than the $1,000 deposit that USC wanted me to throw their way. 😀

What the heck? A grand as a deposit? Man, I love tech. Even Pacific was 300 but there USC goes again, keeping it's ridiculously priced reputation.

Actually, I have a friend who's currently on the waiting list for Texas Tech's PT program. I also have another friend who did her undergrad there so she could probably help if u need some info on housing etc etc etc. Shoot me a pm if u want and I'll get in touch with her.

Hey guys, I know it's an old thread but was wondering if anyone could give us an idea about the interview. Is it one on one vs. on a panel, about how long does it last, and what sort of questions they may ask? Thanks!

As of right now, I'll be attending Texas Tech for DPT school in the summer. I'm headed to the Odessa campus and I'm really excited! Oh and emmvo, the interview is one on one and you'll be there for about four hours, but the interview itself only lasts about 15 minutes.

When did Texas Tech get a DPT program?i thought that it was it an MPT program? is it already accredited as well? Is it at the Lubbock campus or another satellite campus in another city?

Thanks and Congrats Presson, that's exactly what I was hoping to find out. I'll have a long drive to make to Amarillo for the interview but I'm excited. I'm probably the last round of interviews so I hope there are a decent amount of spots left.

Texas Tech is an accredited DPT program. Students either attend campuses in Lubbock, Odessa, or Amarillo.

Average GPA for entering 2009 applicants: 3.5 (cumulative and prereq science)

GRE not required.
