Man i am going through the destroyer organic, and things that i thought I knew i really dont. Plus I got a 23, 20 on TopScore and a 19 on Achiever..

Anyone else going through this?

Taking my exam in one week...

yup, same here. But you can learn a lot this way. Now, imagine if you didn't get destroyer. mmhmm...

i actually just talked to dr romano and he brought up a great point. it shouldn't matter how many you get wrong as long as you come out learning. something to keep in mind.

and yes, the destroyer problems are very difficult, but they aren't designed to be nice to you. they're designed to cover all aspects on topics covered for the dat. i wish i got this a long time ago!

Im glad that i am not the only one out there. How are you guys studying the road map? Im just making some flash cards and listing what mechanism its going through under what reagents...

destroyer orgo... you and I have gone over this b4. the questions are kicking my ass! I am memorizing the road maps but i keep getting the wrong answers.. Arrrggghhh!!!

Im hobbling around on my fancy purple cast 🙂 Destroyer orgo road maps are all you need in terms for rxns for DAT. You just need to memorize-there isnt any way around it(remember memorizing multiplication tables? it sucks,but you gotta do it). Any specific questions?

Kind of, but not really. do you suggest anything in particular for the gen chem? I would imagine I'm going to be told "Do as many problems as you can," but thought maybe I'd ask. I hate gen chem.....

I only took chem 2 in college(AP credits placed me out of chem 1) so the last time i'd see alot of this basic stuff was back in HS. I read through kaplan chem review notes for the theory and did destroyer problems,switching back and forth between the two. I also did the kaplan chem subject test a bunch of times,and also alternated this with kaplan review notes. I read schaums for some stuff,but that was overkill. basically as much repetition as possible,the destroyer and the subject tests are good for problems,but you have to know the theory too,so keep reading that kappy!
