Just sitting here trying to make out my rank list. I definitely know my #1 choice, but then it gets more complicated when evaluating my others, which I would also be happy at. Happy residents, research, size, job prospects, faculty that teach, treatment modalities...ahhh! I hear just rank them in the order you want to go to...period. Easier said than done. Can any residents state what are the most important things to evaluate?

I think at the end of the day most applicants rank based on location and/or prestige, with some combination of the two weighted towards what's most important to them. The MD/PhDs might also pick based on some research based factors (time, strength in their area, research environment).
