Anyone else think the UC Davis Secondary is INSANE??

Anyone else think the UC Davis Secondary is INSANE?? My goal is to send it in tonight, but I'm only on essay # 8 out of 9!!! Ok, this secondary is ridiculous! I just feel like not turning in my best work and just getting this over with b/c it's been consuming me lately. Has anyone completed this? And if so, how did you NOT go crazy doing all these essays??

davis wasnt THAT bad.....and by doing the secondary you basically have a skeleton for all the other secondaries you will ever do. it was one of the first ones i got and it was very helpful because once i finished that....

i was able to use it as a rough draft for my many others.

just make it a day long endeavor. dont do it all in one sitting. eat, watch tv, enjoy a beer.

and at least if they ask for all those questions...they really want to know a lot about you so they can make a somewhat more informed decision compared to other schools that dont ask questions on their secondary (aka BU)

The people that didnt get a secondary from UC Davis have absolutely no sympathy for you.

Now if Davis doesnt interview me. then i'll be pissed.

How long are they supposed to be? And on what topics?

all 1500 characters.......one disadvantaged essay 6000 characters

1.research
2.clinical involvement
3.other work experiences
4.leadership
5.overcoming diff situation
6.if not medicine then what else would you do
7.what societal chance or scientific advancement in the past 12 months will have greatest impact in future of med
8.community service
9.organized EC activities
10. if you are disadvantaged please explain why

I really enjoyed the Davis secondary. It's a good reflection of everything you've done in the past 4 years....Really helped organize my thoughts for my interviews. I'm definitely looking forward to my UCDavis interview in November (the last California interview...since I got turned down by Stanford)
