Probably not very useful but after using Jack3d for awhile and suddenly stopping, my boyfriend complained about constipation from hell.

I suppose he should have weaned himself off more slowly.

I use to take alot of supplements when I played college football (I had to quit after I had 12 concussion), and at the same time I was pretty big into body building so I took all that crap. Its all crap, but there is one supplement that is fantastical, almost as good as Dimas rideding a yunicorn! ****, I am the worst speller ever! but you get it.

This supplement is called JACK3D baby!!! hahaha this crack in a bottle use to get me going like nothing else would. I dont take it any more becuase I literaly got addicted to it, and thats no joke. It got so bad that I would take it throughout the whole day even if I did not work out. Morning, afternoon, and night and some in between.

And of course I would never take the recomended scoops, I was up to about six to seven big scoops per serving. The doctor told me to STOP! I started getting crazy nose bleeds all the time and bad headachs! The doc said it was the Jack3d and it was doing majore damage to me.

It was very hard to stop becuase I got very dependit on it, it was like a drug. It got so bad that I actualy started snorting it in my dorm room in college before class. I finaly stoped and I have not taken any in about a year and a half, but I will say that I miss it very very much.

Yes it got me pumped up, JACK3D up and ready to train, but at the same time it was like it got me high, I would take it to feel good. I thought well hey it cant be that bad for you, if Ronnie Coleman takes it it must be good! but then I started thinking, **** Ronnie Coleman probably has never even taken that crack, he pops pink pills! hahaha

You guys will learn when you actually start practicing medicine that none of these supplements actually work as advertised, which is why these companies take the "supplement" route (with it's lower efficacy requirements) rather than go through the FDA approval process. It won't make you stronger, but thanks to caffeine and other additives, it makes you feel jittery so you work up a sweat, and the rest is placebo. Supplements dont work. If they worked, they would be worth the investment to get them FDA approved. Yet all supplements have side effects, and so yes even tHough you might not improve your lift or your focus, you certainly might stroke out or destroy your liver. As future physicians, you guys are going to need to be the safeguards against the frauds that get played on foolish consumers by supplement companies, not one of the fellow rubes.

What about all the drugs approved and prescribed by/in various first world countries that the FDA has wantonly decided aren't useful, even when clinical trials show the opposite, or the drugs that aren't profitable for companies to sponsor for approval? It boggles my mind that decades old pills can be prescribed in Germany, Ireland, England, etc. and not FDA approved here. (SJW and I think 5-HTP come to mind, prescribed in Germany, Ireland, other European countries, etc. each with very robust clinical trials and analyses (SJW with more)). FDA approval requires money and a lot of treatments that are off patent simply aren't worth putting through the approval process. For those worried about supplement quality, buy from a reputable company or buy prescription grade stuff.

There is a lot of BS in the whole supplement atmosphere but there are some gems, and in the case of Jack3d, some real benefits. Creatine is well studied, relatively safe, and has a very real, albeit small, positive effect on hypertrophy and workout intensity. Caffeine has proven to increase available ATP for muscle contraction. I'm not familiar with 1,3 diethylamylamine so I won't comment on it, but caffeine and creatine by no means act only as placebos in pre workout supplements.
