I was just seeing if there was anyone from CSUN here..

I graduated in 03 and now at UCSF. If anyone has any q's about the school, feel free to ask...

by the way, as of today 28 spaces have been filled...

u getting alot of help by Dr. Corcoran...

as a recent grad from CSUN and a first year stressed D1, I would like to recommend some classes that u should consider.

Biochem- never req'd at CSUN and never req'd at UCSF but take it, it helps. First quarter is cell bio and second is actually real biochem, but take it.

Anatomy- Gross anatomy is hard as hell. If you can take bio 211 with anyone of the boring guys at CSUN, take it- will help.

Histology- histo isn't too bad but previous knowledge will help you get through- especially when you are faced with 26 units first quarter.

OCCLUSION- the nightmare of all crazy nightmares.... UCLA offers a class that prepares you for wax-ups.. .take it.... get the hands on experience.... some waxups that I did looked perfect in my eyes, but not in the instructors...

Other than that brace yourselves.... coming from CSUN (semesters) to a quarter system is deadly..

By the way, Oppenheimer and Bio 441 is a great course now that I look at it... Gross Anatomy is put together with embryo.

If you have any q's let me know.

Hi drdds2007. How do you think the course titled "Anatomy and Physiology" for 4 credits and lab, 0 credit? Since I don't have two semesters to take Anatomy and then, Physiology. Thanks for your suggestion.

it would be better... also take into account that you still will end up taking phsyiology in the spring or whenever...

some anatomy is better than none.... the cranial nerves are something.... #5 is the best friend for all of us...
