Anyone has experience with sending foreign transcript?

Hi, I obtained my bachelor's degree in a foreign country and sent the official foreign transcript to optomcas. The problem is that I just learned that optomcas does NOT forward foreign transcripts without an official evaluation, although the evaluation is not required by the optometry program. I am contacting the optometry program regarding this issue but have not got an reply yet. Anyone has experience with this? Should I just go ahead and order an evaluation in case it is needed? But I don't know which evaluation agency will be accepted.
