Anyone have TUCOM interview on 11/25?

Received my interview invite to TUCOM recently and was wondering if anyone else will be at the Vallejo Best Western on 11/25 for same. Just looking to break the ice early since it will be a group interview! For those of you that have already interviewed at TUCOM - what did you think about the program?

when you mean group interview, is it gonna be a couple of interviewers asking you questions at the same time? or u meant that there will be a couple of applicants being interviewed at the same time..and also which schools have group interviews compared to individual interviewers? thanks

hkny79, it is my understanding that TUCOM and UHS have group interviews (I don't know about others). By this I mean that a group of applicants are interviewed together, at once, by a panel of people on the Admissions Committee. Not my preferred way to get to know a school, but what can you do? Hope this helps a little.

TUCOM does open file, group interviews. What this means is: Four interviewers interviewing 3-5 interviewees at the same time. What usually happens at TUCOM is each interviewer takes a turn and asks each applicant a question or two. Sometimes the same question is asked for each applicant. In my experience though, each applicant received a different question.

UHS does not do group interviews. They do panel open file interviews. This means there are two interviewers interviewing just you.

thanks guys..yes that did help..i would think that group interviews lessens the pressure on you..the interviewers wont be staring at you expecting an answer...i would be interested to know what other schools have group interviews besides TUCOM and UHS?

Just got an interview at TUCOM as well, still need to schedule it though (probably do it today). 11/25 might work, I'll let ya know. Group interviews huh? that should be interesting.
