Anyone hear from the University of Melbourne yet?

I applied in early March and from what I have heard they do rolling admissions and give out results pretty quickly. Anyone gotten a final decision yet?

I submitted my application there and received an attachment from them towards the end of March confirming process of my documents. There was no other email from them since then. I noticed they haven't charged my account for the application fee yet.
Their site did say approx. 2 weeks (ideally) for an undergraduate application... but I think another poster said they've had some delay as well.
Let's keep our fingers ??

Cheers Tina! Thanks for the reply. I have also gotten an attachment from them stating that it would take about 2 weeks for a decision. They already charged me for the application fee. Praying for some good news soon....

I think by mid May-June if I don't hear anything I will phoning to find out the status of my apps!!

I'm from Asia actually (Taiwan). I got into the University of Prince Edward Island but I think I'd rather go to Melbourne cause its closer and cheaper.

Cool! Anything you can tell me about PEI? I asked a couple of my friends who live in Canada but none of them have been there before. Did you apply to Canadian programs as well? Thanks 🙂

Yes, I applied to OVC in Ontario. I know that PEI has a great program...now honestly I haven't been there either lol...but PEI is VERY small, but very relaxed, and overall the people of PEI are really warm, and great people in general! 😀

I applied to Murdoch as well, but didn't make their Round 1 cut-off deadline (March 31st)... partially because I didn't want to scan some official transcripts, so sent those via snail mail only. I think their 2nd round of reviews is probably at end of June? Seems like they're ones to wait out for a collection of applications.

I asked for the other schools (Melb and Syd) admission process, which seems more by basis of acceptance/registration.

Hope they do work on it rather than watch the piles grow !! Yes, I am from N. America (Pacific Coast U.S. specifically). Guess we'll wait it out together until more posters/applicants gather as well??

UPEI is great, and I've only ever heard good things about it. I hopefully will be accepted to UPEI- fingers crossed. I'm applying next application round.

Hey TrillyTina, when did you apply to Murdoch?...I applied at the end of February and I thought on the website it said they would make offers within a month of the dead line...so from March 31- April 30...? 🙁 ?! Did they tell you that you didn't make the cut off? There's still a few weeks left! 🙂

Sorry didn't get back to this for a while...

Well I know yours will definitely be considered in round 1! I didn't send my application electronically till like March 27, and mailed out my carbon copies on the 28th... I didn't do the electronic transcript upload, as I didn't have any extra sealed transcript to send if I did... so I mean taking into consideration the processing and flight time 🙄 ya... I probably got sorted into round 2!!

Well maybe there were more delays because of the amount of applications they received? I think they did list the members of the AdCom on a page... and if it does really go by that, then N.A. residents only have 1 person on top of a few other countries to handle 😛.
