I realize they tend to interview and accept MUCH later than the rest of the schools, but I haven't heard a word from them. I have tried to contact Nancy Webb on numerous occasions and she hasn't returned a single voicemail. I know they are busy but frankly, they should take the time to inform us of our status, no matter how competitive we are. Not a good first impression....

bump.

I know Dalhousie doesn't get a lot of applicants but there's got to be someone out there with some feedback!

Sorry man, this is off-topic and not at all what you're looking for, but one of my favorite instructors from my D1 year was a professor from Dalhousie. If the faculty there are as great as this guy, then I'd say it's an excellent school.

I hope you get in!

I recieved an interview invite back around February 1, but as a Maine resident, they were really trying to get me to come. I think that I was among their first batch of acceptances. Also, if your a US resident, search for one of my posts about Dal - they specificaly target Maine residents for their US seats.

Great news, are you going to attend? I lived there for 1.5 years and would love to go back. I have heard nothing but great things about the school. Do you have any idea if they have filled their 6 allotted US spots?

Thanks, I had my UNLV interview a few days ago and was not too impressed with the place. I'm hoping for a few more options but I can't be too picky given how late I applied.

I have no idea if they have filled the spots yet or not. My hunch, however, is that they havent and probably wont fill them with Maine residents. There just arent that many of us from Maine that want to go to dental school. And even fewer that want to come back to Maine (for any of you wondering where to practice - think Maine!!!).

If you haven't interviewed there yet, you probably won't, sorry. They are making their decisions for U.S. residents this week I heard. I know of two guys from my school that took the trek up there to interview.
Also if you weren't too impressed with UNLV then you won't be impressed with any school that you go to. They were the nicest school that I interveiwed at.

UNLV 2009!!!!

Well that stinks. I was under the impression that they interviewed well into the summer.

No offense toward UNLV--I don't have anything to compare it against and I'm willing to give them a mulligan considering how new they are and other things. If I get the offer I may be your classmate!

My fiance was accepted! He found out yesterday.
I guess he'll fill one of the six slots. He is a resident of maine, graduated from Bowdoin.
