here is what harvard's webiste has to say about it: (copied directly from Harvards website)
Interview: Back to Top
A personal interview is required for admission and is granted by invitation only. Interviews are considered an essential part of the admissions process and provide potential students the opportunity to flesh out their written applications and to fully articulate their background, experiences, knowledge and interest in dentistry. All interviews take place in person at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Regional or telephone interviews are not conducted.
Good try KAP!
Oh that's great. I wrote a hit play and directed it, so I'm not sweating it either! 😎KAP said:I just got a letter from Harvard and they accepted me without an interview! This is unreal I can't believe it.

bloodygums said:Harvard never takes anyone without an interview. They also do really care about more than your stats. I was the first interview at harvard this year. My GPA is 4.0 and my DAT scores are Academic: 24 Science: 25 Perceptual: 19. I think those are pretty good numbers, I've also done some research (undistinguished), but I got put on the wait list. I got the letter on Dec 10. I think it is safe to say that Harvard is looking for something more than numbers.
Audio said:Damn, tough luck. Maybe you'll get in off the waitlist. You can't be too far down it! I agree though. If Harvard wanted, they could pick a class with a GPA average of 3.95 and DAT of 24 but they obviously look for something specific. Hope that I fit in to their view of what the ideal student is. 🙂
