Hey guys,
I was walking around my campus the other day and saw a flyer for an MCAT prep course called IVY MCAT. It is all online and they claim that if you don't get a 30 or higher they will let you retake the course for free. The courses are small, like 5-10 students. Is it worth a try, or not worth the risk? Just trying to get some feedback here. If you want to look into it more just google it and take a look at their website. All feedback is appreciated. Thanks

I saw that, they apparently advertise over 90% of their students got a 38 or higher...

I believe Kaplan lets you retake their course as many times as you want. I would be impressed if they gave you back your money if you got less than a 30.

They don't let you retake "as many times as you want." Actually, I hit their limit, lol.

(It was because I was working 60-80+ hour work weeks and trying to prepare for MCAT. A couple years later, I quit my job and found time to prepare. And I only attended Kaplan classes before the retake. After that I only requested a "retake" to use their materials like all the practice tests.)

Back when I took Kaplan, they would only refund if (see if I remember this right)... If you completed all of their coursework including all of the assigned tests, your score did not improve, and you filled out a request for refund paperwork by their deadline.

I did a program called IVY Prep when studying for the SHSATs run by some shady Chinese guy who had a similar guarantee.

Is this program in NYC? If so, I have a feeling it's the same guy, and it's a total scam.

Edit: nvm California
